Teladoc Virtual Visits
Get the right care when you need it most by talking with a doctor by phone or video 24/7.
JPOFFHIT members covered by a Florida Blue plan will pay a $0 copay during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We want you to feel better faster! With the convenience of our virtual visits through Teladoc, you can receive quality care without stepping foot in a doctor’s office.
Skip the waiting room and talk to a health care professional by phone or video 24/7, even after hours or on the weekends. Simply request a visit, choose your consultation method, and a doctor will provide you with care normally within less than an hour.
You’ll receive timely treatment for non-emergency issues, and you can elect to send the results to your primary care doctor. If necessary, Teladoc will send prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.
Note: JPOFFHIT members enrolled in the UF Health Plan have limited access to virtual visits through UF Health.

Teladoc’s doctors are U.S. board-certified internists, family doctors and pediatricians licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. When you request a visit, Teladoc will connect you with a doctor licensed in your state or province.
For members living in Canada, Teladoc Canadian physicians are board-certified in one or more provinces in internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency care and family medicine.
All of our physicians diagnose, treat and prescribe medications (if necessary) for common, non-emergency health issues by phone or video.
We will ask you to complete a brief medical history prior to requesting your first visit, similar to filling out forms before an in-person doctor visit. You can update your medical history at any time through your profile on Teladoc.com or the Teladoc app.
Your Teladoc medical history is stored on the Teladoc HIPAA-compliant, encrypted central server. Before each visit, the doctor will review your medical history with a specific focus on chronic illnesses, current medications, allergies and any changes in your medical condition.
